About Us

I'm Ciara Stapleton, an experienced mediator based in Galway and Clare.  I believe that, with the right space and support, difficult conversations can become an opportunity for positive and lasting change.

I completed my mediation training which is accredited by the Mediators’ Institute of Ireland (MII) and the Irish Professional Mediators Organisation (IPMO). I also hold a Micro-Credential in Family Law from the University of Limerick.

My approach is calm, supportive and facilitative. I create a safe and respectful environment where people can feel heard, communicate openly and work towards practical solutions that feel fair and sustainable.

My previous experience working with elderly people and teenagers in a mental health setting developed my patience, empathy and ability to listen without judgement. As a mother of three adult children, I also bring personal insight into family dynamics, change and long-term relationships.

I volunteer with Gort Family Resource Centre and actively promote mediation within my local community.

I’m passionate about making mediation more accessible and helping people see it as a constructive and empowering option—not a last resort.
